Mr. Aaqib Tanveer from the Department of Spanish Language represented NUML as English/Urdu to Spanish and Spanish to English/Urdu interpreter during visit of the Members of Senate Affairs Committee of The Kingdom of Spain to Pakistan from 14th to 19th November 2024.
He performed his duties as interpreter for the delegation throughout their stay including their meetings with Chairman Senate, Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Chairperson National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Chairman Board of Investment, Executive Director PIPS, Convener Pak-Spain Parliamentary Friendship Group, Speaker National Assembly, Federal Ministers, Chief Minister, Governor and Speaker Provincial Assembly of Punjab at Parliament House of Pakistan, Board of Investment, Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services, Board of Investment, Ministry of Commerce, Governor House and official lunches and dinners hosted by government officials, Ambassador and Honorary Counsel General of Spain.
He also accompanied them during their visit to Senate Museum Islamabad, flag lowering ceremony at Wagah Border, Lahore Museum, Mazar-e-Iqbal, Badshahi Musjid, and other historical places. His services were highly appreciated by both the foreign delegates and the DG Protocol.
